COVID-19 UPDATE at the Temple
Dear Temple Community & Customers,
Due to ongoing concerns about the outbreak of COVID-19, otherwise known as the Coronavirus, we would like to keep our event customers and community of businesses updated on our current status. Please check back, as we will post the latest here on our Facebook and Website (http://salinatemple.com/).
We have closed public access to our visitor center, and have restricted access to just our business community and their customers. If you are coming to the Temple, please call the business you are visiting for access. If you have questions on our venue for events, please call Mary Landes, Executive Director at 785-201-3132 x1.
Temple community and business owners are following the guidelines. We are installing new soap dispensers at all sinks (Today - Thank you Sage Products, Inc for coming today!) and have disinfectant spray in all bathrooms. All visitors to the Temple, please wash your hands and use the disinfectant spray. We are using extra cleaning precautions as recommended, and ask you to help us. If you or your clients have any respiratory symptoms, please do not come into the Temple.
We are working hard to minimize exposure to visitors. If you have an event booked with us, we are monitoring the latest government guidelines and will follow those as they are established. We will contact you immediately if we learn of restrictions that would affect your event, and will work with you to reschedule in the future.
At this time, events scheduled in April will not be allowed to continue. We will reschedule these events.
We understand how difficult these restrictions are, and want you to know we are doing everything we can to keep our venue safe, clean and protected for our community and customers. We appreciate your understanding and patience!
Update: YOU did it! Our fundraiser was a success! We have the funds to begin work, and and work will begin in March to replace the roof at the Temple. We are grateful for everyone who donated, helped and worked so hard to make this happen! Follow our progress here, and on our Facebook Page.
